Are there any minimum device requirements in order to use the BOL SA Mobile App?

Minimum Device requirements – iPhone Devices

  • Minimum compatible device: iPhone 6
  • Operating system minimum: iOS 9

Minimum Device requirements – iPad Devices

  • Minimum compatible device: iPad Mini 2
  • Operating system minimum: iOS 9

Minimum Device requirements – Android Devices

  • All mobile and tablet devices are compatible
  • Operating system minimum: Lollipop 7.0
 

Do I need new credentials to access the BOL SA Mobile Application?
Sign in credentials currently remain the same across all platforms, however Digital Authentication is coming to the mobile app soon!


My credentials used for the desktop application are not working on the mobile app.
In some instances, this issue is experienced when the operator has installed and is accessing the mobile application for our African Regions.
Confirm that you are attempting to access the correct mobile app to sign in by ensuring that you have searched for and installed the app listed as Business Online SA.
If the issue persists, please contact the Business Online Contact Centre for assistance.


As a new operator, can I complete first time credential registration on the mobile app?
No, all first-time registrations must be completed using the Desktop BOL application. Once your credentials have been activated, you may proceed to sign into the mobile app.
 
Does the BOL SA Mobile App have the same functionality as the desktop application?
The mobile app serves as an accompanying platform to the Desktop BOL application. The mobile app therefore has a limited set of functionalities available. Please refer to the functionality listed on the BOL SA Mobile App page.
New functionality is introduced to the mobile app on an iterative basis. All operators will receive communication when new functionality is made available.


Can I view bank statements on the mobile app?
Transaction details from your provisional statement are available to view on the mobile app, statements are not currently available.


What types of accounts are available on the Business Online SA Mobile App?
You have access to the following account types:

  • Current Accounts
  • Savings Accounts
  • Call Accounts
  • Notice Deposit Accounts
  • Fixed Deposit Accounts
  • Homeloan, Master Card, Vostro, Domestic Treasury Fund Management, Third Party Fund Administration and 10 digit account numbers are currently not available on the BOL SA Mobile App.

Will the SA mobile app include Domestic and International banking?
Currently only certain functionality within domestic banking is available on the mobile app.


Can I create payments using the mobile app?
Yes, create SSVS payments on the BOL SA Mobile App to existing & CDI beneficiaries, in addition to creating once-off payments to beneficiaries.


Can I add/update beneficiary details using the mobile app?
The option to add and update beneficiary details is only available on the Desktop BOL application.


I would like to create an RTC/ RTGS payment on the mobile app, where do I find this field?
On the BOL SA Mobile App, RTC/RTGS transactions are referred to as Urgent transactions. This Urgent indicator is available on the payment details screen when creating a payment transaction using the mobile app.


Can I create Inter-account transfers using the mobile app?
Yes, you can create, audit, verify and release inter-account transfer transactions on the BOL SA Mobile App.


How can I provide feedback to Standard Bank on the mobile app?
Operators can provide feedback directly to the Business Online team using the in-app feedback feature. Alternatively simply  navigate to the More tab on the app and select the Share Feedback option.
